about

This small collection of short musical pieces for piano has been created during the last 3 years, and has been recorded mainly when many other activities ended in the first pandemic lockdown.I sat at the piano and tried to let the sounds flow. Some of the tracks were quite demanding in terms of the amount of time and care they took to get ready (“Slanting Advancement“ took quite a few years to develop), others came quickly and easily to me (“Après une visite“, „Uncovered“ and „Prayers and care“).
I don't follow a certain musical style, but rather let me inspire by a momentary mood or sound, or rhythm or motif, tune into the ideas that come, and look for the most adequate form of expression I can find to support the initial idea the best way I can.
Most important for these works was to keep the original simplicity and to add as little as possible.

Thank you very much for support and very helpful contributions:
Markus Apitius, Thorsten Hellmuth, Sigrid Schulze, Prof. Christian Bruhn; and thanks to all these tangible and inconceivable wells of inspiration and intuition.
